City tours in the Czech Republic

Hardly any country has so changable history as the Czech Republic. Famous composers such as Bedřich Smetana and writers such as Franz Kafka found the inspiration for their brilliant works in its vibrant cities and idyllic countryside. Czech villages like from another time and visits to romantic castles and World Heritage sites will make you feel the conection with the past.

Wine, beer and food tours

Moravian and czech wines have great reputation even outside the Czech Republic. They have collected altogether about 500 medals from international wine competitions in Europe, North America and Asia. Beer is seen as one of the symbols of the country and „české pivo/Czech beer“ is a registered trademark since 2008.

Old Town Hall with famous Prague astronomical clock. Crooked streets of old Jewish Town, knowh from Franz Kafka’s books, imbued with the ancient legend of Golem. Cafés, that invite you to sit by a nice cup of coffee, boutiques, boat trips on Vltava. The gothic Charles Bridge and St. Nicholas Church in the Lesser Town, the nicest baroque church in Prague. Palace Gardens – away from the city hustle, the Petřín hill with a lookout tower, that was built as a miniature of Eiffel Tower, the Prague Castle… Each Prague town has its unique atmosphere. Prague introduces itself as a colorful city, that like to change its character: Prague is romantic and busy, quiant and modern, but above all really a metropolis, that welcomes visitors from all over the world. Let’s explore it together!
  • The Charles Bridge And Its Bridge Towers

The Charles Bridge has always been an inspiration to many painters, photographers and poets, that captured its magnificence in their works. When the early morning sunlight hits its cold stone blocks and flood both gothic bridge towers, you could hardly find a more romantic scenery in the whole world. The Charles Bridge with its many baroque sculptures also provides wonderful view of the Prague Castle, which makes it one of the most attractive turistic sites that Europe provides.

  • Kutná Hora – The Treasure House Of The Czech Kingdom

Kutná Hora rightfully holds the title „the treasure house of the land“, because the wealth of the town allowed the development of the Czech Kingdom. The inner town was proclaimed the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, due to its historical significance and architectonical masterworks. The atmosphere of the medieval times is present in every street, every corner and every church of the town, including the enchanting gothic dome of St. Barbara.
  • Český Krumlov – The Journey To The Renaissance

On the meander of the Vltava river lies Český Krumlov, the pearl ofthe renaissance, with its impressive castle, romantic crooked streets, abundant shields of the castle houses and blooming park. You can also visit some of its medieval guesthouses, pubs, galleries and graphite mining site. Because of its beautiful renaissance castle and inner town is Český Krumlov on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.

  • “Fantastic Prague Private Tour Guide – David Klaus!”

We were part of a group of 3 couples who just returned from a great trip to Budapest, Prague, & Vienna. In Prague, David was our tour guide and he was superb in conveying his extensive knowledge of Prague’s architectural highlights and history including the Jewish quarter. Furthermore, David has a wonderful demeanor and is very friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable advice about food and musical entertainment. He is an avid photographer and even gave us a CD of some of his best pictures of Prague over the 4 seasons! After spending 3 days in Prague with 2 half day tours and one full day tour of Terezin and the Jewish quarter with David, we had an excellent feel for the Czech culture and the city of Prague. On our last day, we drove to Vienna with Jan via a stop at Cesky Krumlov. Jan is a wonderful, patient driver and he was very personable as well. Overall, we highly recommend David – he is an outstanding, highly intelligent tour guide and he will help make your trip memorable and extremely enjoyable!

  • “Great tour of Prague”

David, our tour guide, did a great job showing us around Prague and guiding us through all the interesting parts of Prague. He was a wealth of knowledge and we really enjoyed his stories. He took us to some places that we would never had found on our own. Highly recommend this company.

  • “”Prague Perfect” with David”

David K. provided a rich tour despite our low level of energy (jet lag). We did the half day tour and it was remarkable because of all of the sights we were able to enjoy in such a brief time. It was a wonderful balance of riding and walking (to keep us awake) as well as historical and contemporary information. His English is excellent. Prague is fortunate to have such a kind gentleman as an ambassador! Our hotel arranged the tour at the last minute and we couldn’t have been more pleased! Great value.

  • Dobry Den (Good Day in Czech). If you plan to visit Prague and the surrounding areas, you must seriously consider using the services of Prague Personal Guide. My wife and I visited Prague in April 2016 and had such a wonderful experience using this service right from the initial contact with David and Krystýna (office) from home was very professionally handled with timely responses which included a wealth of information. This was very the best decision we made of the entire trip. Also full compliments go out to our tour guide Jana who was filled with information while visiting numerous attractions as well as our courteous driver David. Thank you David and Jana. We will be revisiting Prague again and will not hesitate for an instant to utilize such a great professional team of Prague Personal Guide. Thanks for a great visit. Tom & Katya

  • “David Klaus: Personal guide via Hotel Intercontinental”

We were acquainted with David through the concierge service at our hotel: the very serene Intercontinental Hotel. David asked us where our interests lie in terms of art, history, food, café life, architecture, language or local activities in advance of commencing our tour. Before we began our sightseeing on the ancient streets of Prague ( known as Praha in the Czech language) our wonderful & highly knowledgable guide David made sure to sit down with us to enlighten us regarding the history , geography & culture of the region. He gave a quick overview of language pronunciation so we could understand how to pronounce local street names & other points of interest. He covered the hierarchal history of royalty & leaders from the 11th century through contemporary times. He taught us about the contributions of each leader or regime (including the Communist era) & pointed out the architectural influences of each epoch. David is highly educated in history AND the arts! His English is impeccable (important to us as we speak no Czech). He knows about the local specialty foods & the various beers & pilsners that are Czech specialties & he knows the best sites for enjoying them! He even made sure we knew how to use & navigate the public transportation system. In all we spent one & a half days with David. When we came to the end of our tour time, it was a little sad: like saying goodbye to a dear friend. We will definitely come back to this history-rich city & when we do, we will work AGAIN with David to explore all the cultural treasures

  • “VIP”

We were lucky with the guide – told us lots of interesting stories, we had nice and easy walking tour. Weather was really nice – we are 100% satisfied! Had VIP tour!
